Kolpinghaus Brixen offers ideal accommodation for students who are looking for a quiet, yet central place to live. Just a few minutes' walk from the university, the old town, and the railway station, you can enjoy short distances, a pleasant learning atmosphere, and optimal transportation connections.

Opened in 2006, the residence hall has modern communal areas that enrich living and learning. The spacious communal kitchen with a roof terrace, the TV room, and the spacious atrium all invite you to socialise and relax. Additional amenities, such as washing machines and a bicycle depot, ensure maximum comfort in everyday life.

A Retreat with a Sense of Community

At Kolpinghaus Brixen you will stay in a bright, functional single room that is specially designed to meet the needs of students. Each of the 49 rooms is approximately 11 m² in size and has its own bathroom with a toilet and shower. The rooms are equipped with a single bed, desk, wardrobe, and sufficient storage space so that you can concentrate fully on your studies. The quiet location and well thought-out furnishings create the ideal environment for studying and relaxing.

Das Kolpinghaus Brixen bietet 49 moderne Einzelzimmer mit eigenem Bad/WC in zentraler Lage. Unsere Bewohner profitieren von einer großzügigen Gemeinschaftsküche mit Außenterrasse, einem Atrium zum Lernen und Entspannen sowie der Kolping-Mensa und Bar im Erdgeschoss. Dank der idealen Lage sind Universität, Stadtzentrum und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Die Vergabe der Zimmer erfolgt über die autonome Provinz Bozen. Der Verein Kolpinghaus Brixen stellt die 49 Zimmer zur Verfügung, kann diese jedoch nicht eigenständig vergeben. What does the Kolping Brixen student residence have to offer?

Kolpinghaus Brixen offers 49 modern single rooms for students with private bathrooms in a central location, including one room for students with disability. Our guests benefit from a spacious communal kitchen with outdoor terrace, an atrium for studying and relaxing, as well as the Kolping canteen and bar on the ground floor. Thanks to its ideal location, the university, city centre, and public transportation are just a few minutes' walk away.

How do I get a place in the dormitory?

The 49 spots at Kolpinghaus Brixen are allocated exclusively by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen. The Kolpinghaus Brixen association provides the rooms for university students, but cannot allocate them independently. Allocation is based on the guidelines of the province and its ranking system.
