Comfortable living in the heart of Brixen: student residence Kolpinghaus

Comfortable living in the heart of Brixen: student residence Kolpinghaus

In the new established association of Kolpinghaus Brixen in the Fallmerayerstraße there is also the Kolpinghaus student residence, which was opened in 2006. The home is very quiet and central. The university and the city center are just a 2-minute walk away and the train station is around 10 minutes away.

The modern dormitory provides university students with 49 bright single rooms with private bath / WC. The approximately 11 m2 large rooms are divided into groups of two, each with a common anteroom. The decor is functional and contemporary. It includes a single bed, wardrobe and desk with chair and various shelves. In the rooms there are several storage rooms. They are cleaned once a week by the cleaning staff. Blankets, bed linen, towels or upholstery are not provided.

In the cozy common kitchen on the 3rd floor there are a cooking area with several cookers, an oven and a microwave oven. For personal cooking utensils there are also two lockable compartments and a cool box per room. The equipment includes  also a football table. From the kitchen you reach an attractive, sunny roof terrace and the TV room. In the seats and at the tables of the spacious, light-flooded atrium, you can relax or chat in the group. Washing machines and dryers are in the laundry room in the basement. Bicycles can be parked in the bicycle depot. The Kolping Mensa and the bar on the ground floor are accessible to everyone. Students are, of course, very welcome.

On the first floor of the building there are the administrative offices of the Verein Kolpinghaus Brixen association. The formalities for moving in and out can also be regulated here. The allocation of dormitory places is handled exclusively by the Office for Promotion of Higher Education of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen – South Tyrol, which must also be contacted for inquiries regarding available rooms in the student dormitory.
